Darren Straniero, CFP®

Financial PLANNER

Hi. I'm Darren. My professional purpose changed when my wife and I were blessed to go from having 1 child to 5 children in just 2.5 years. That wasn't built into our financial plan!

I started my career in 2008 with a national financial services firm and wanted to bring financial advice to families with a transparent fee structure & fewer conflicts of interest.

In 2019 I launched OnPlane Financial Advisors LLC and continue to help families manage their financial lives so they can spend their time on the other more meaningful areas of their lives.

I graduated from Olivet College in Olivet, MI with a degree in Journalism. I wrote for the school newspaper & was an All-American on the golf team.

I also hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation - the standard of excellence in the financial planning and advising profession.

When I’m not managing OPFA Families’ financial lives, you can find me yukking it up with my wife and kids, coaching our kids’ sports teams, working on another recipe in the kitchen, or trying to find my golf game that once was.
